FOA is not for everyone. It is for fathers and parents who are prepared to stand up as litigants in person and confront unlawful authority directly through public law action, with serious paperwork and real risk. If you want someone to take your case off your hands and carry it for you, that is a solicitor’s job. If you want to be led through the process, step by step, with militant documentation and public law strategy behind you, that is what we do.
We are not regulated as solicitors. We do not go on the court record. You remain the litigant in person. That is what keeps our model legal and affordable. We prepare the material. You sign it, file it, serve it and stand behind it. The court sees you, not us. The power comes from the work, not the badge.
Judicial Review is not an easy route. Many claims in this country are refused permission because they are weak, late or framed on emotion instead of public law grounds. We do not promise wins. We promise that your case will be examined properly, that any arguable public law grounds will be set out with precision, and that you will not walk into a JR process blind.
If costs are awarded in your favour, you keep almost all of it. We take a small percentage of what is recovered, not a cut of your damages or your life. If costs are not awarded, you still leave with a documented record of what was done to you and why it was wrong. There are no refunds and no guarantees, because this is real litigation, not a product.

On what happens if permission is refused
If permission is refused, we help you understand why, assess whether renewal is sensible and decide whether to stop or to push on. The fee covers the work done, not the result. We do not disappear as soon as a decision arrives.
